On May 31 the ZAPORIZHZHIA NUCLEAR PLANT operator said its transport workshop
was hit by Ukrainian armed forces, destroying six commuter shuttles and two
cars; no casualties were reported. The operator said the site has been one of
the most frequently targeted by Ukrainian forces in recent months, with official
vehicles and staff commuter buses repeatedly affected. Despite the strike the
plant remains in normal operation; safety is said to be fully ensured and all
technical parameters are under continuous monitoring.
