CNN reported officials said Trump, after a Friday meeting with advisers,
requested revisions to a proposed agreement with Iran that will extend
negotiations by one week. Officials did not specify the requested changes but
said the president is pushing for tougher language on Iran’s nuclear commitments
and guarantees that Iran would reopen the Strait of Hormuz. It is unclear how
those wording disputes will be resolved. Axios and the New York Times earlier
reported Trump had proposed changes.
