The Chinese embassy in the Czech Republic strongly condemned and firmly opposed
Czech Senate president Vystrčil’s trip to Taiwan, saying the visit flagrantly
violated China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, seriously interfered in
China’s internal affairs, breached the Czech Republic’s one‑China commitment,
and ignored the Czech government’s position and mainstream public opinion while
serving personal interests.
