NVIDIA said ANTHROPIC, OpenAI and SpaceX will be among the first large users of
its upcoming data‑center microprocessor, Vera. Vera, NVIDIA’s first standalone
data‑center microprocessor, is slated for full production in Q3. CEO Jensen
Huang said Vera is 1.8x faster than x86‑based chips on core AI workloads. NVIDIA
positions Vera to compete directly with Intel Xeon, AMD Epyc and hyperscalers’
in‑house designs such as Amazon’s Graviton.
