At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with container shipping to Europe up over 11%, coking coal up over 7%, eggs and coke up over 5%, and asphalt, plastics, fuel oil, and propylene up over 2%. On the downside, logs, soybean meal, and pulp fell over 1%, while zinc, stainless steel, nickel, and palladium fell nearly 1%.
