At the close of the morning session, most domestic futures contracts rose, with Shanghai tin up over 3%, methanol up nearly 3%, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), asphalt, paraxylene, and apples up over 2%. SC crude oil and low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) also rose nearly 2%. On the downside, lithium carbonate fell nearly 4%, container shipping to Europe fell over 2%, and caustic soda, alumina, live hogs, glass, soda ash, and Shanghai gold all fell over 1%.
