The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the China Meteorological
Administration warned that between the night of June 2 and June 4 a widespread
convective system will affect eastern Inner Mongolia, eastern and southern
Northeast China, central-eastern North China and eastern Huanghuai.
Beijing‑Tianjin‑Hebei, Liaoning and Shandong may see thunderstorm gusts of force
8–10, locally exceeding 11, with hail and short‑duration heavy rain. Facilities
agriculture in eastern Heilongjiang, central‑eastern Jilin, Liaoning, most of
Hebei, Beijing, Tianjin, eastern Shanxi, northern Shandong and northern Henan
faces elevated wind‑damage risk, potentially damaging greenhouses and plastic
film covers. Winter wheat lodging risk is high in Beijing, Tianjin, eastern
Shanxi, northern Shandong and northern Henan.
