On the 2nd, Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu said at a Mossad leadership
handover that he will never allow Iran to threaten Israel's existence,
reiterating long-standing policy to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.
He called the Iranian regime a "terrorist regime destined to disappear from the
world" and said Israel would "help achieve that goal," ensuring Iran cannot
threaten Israel with "a nuclear bomb and thousands of lethal ballistic
missiles."
