A shell company linked to Elon Musk has purchased more than 6,000 acres across at least six parcels in Grimes County outside Houston, land records show. The buyer, WIT Tech LLC, appears to be securing a site for Terafab, a proposed chip factory backed by SpaceX, Tesla and xAI with planned capital spending of about $55 billion and potential total investment of up to $119 billion. Transaction prices were not disclosed.
