Local time June 2, the Israeli military said its Givati Brigade conducted
multiple operations in the Nabatieh area of southern Lebanon, including targeted
raids, weapons clearance and strikes on armed personnel. The operations aimed to
establish Israeli positions, remove direct threats to northern Israel and
strengthen deployments in southern Lebanon. The military forces said crossed the
Litani River and, with Israeli Air Force support, carried out precision strikes
that destroyed militant infrastructure, searched for and cleared weapons, and
killed multiple armed personnel.
