On June 2 President Trump said the White House Correspondents' Dinner, postponed
after a recent violent incident, has been rescheduled for July 24 and that he
has accepted an invitation to attend and speak. He said he was unsure whether he
would repeat similar "sharp remarks" made previously. Trump said the dinner will
be held at the Waldorf Astoria on Pennsylvania Avenue, which he said he had a
role in developing.
