easing pressure on employers who rely on legal immigration amid the Trump
administration's broader tightening. He also indicated support for simplifying
re‑entry procedures for H‑2B seasonal foreign workers, a temporary labor source
for hospitality, tourism, seafood processing, landscaping and construction
sectors.
