ThunderSoft said on June 2 its unit Chuangtong Lianda unveiled the TurboX C7790
edge-AI development kit at Computex Taipei. Built on the Qualcomm Q-7790
(CQ7790S) processor, the kit delivers up to 24 TOPS and combines a
production-grade TurboX C7790 SOM, a feature-rich carrier board, Android/Linux
support and mainstream AI toolchains to provide an out-of-the-box path from PoC
to mass production. Target use cases include video-conferencing endpoints, smart
cameras, industrial robots, autonomous mobile robots, collaboration and delivery
robots, and high-end edge gateways. The company says the product fills a gap in
Qualcomm-platform modules offering >20 TOPS.
