Kuwait Civil Aviation Authority said on the morning of June 3 Terminal 1 at
Kuwait International Airport was heavily damaged in a “hostile” drone attack,
injuring multiple people on site. The authority has suspended takeoffs and
landings at the airport and activated an emergency plan. A spokesman for the
Kuwait Defense Ministry called the drone strike “an act of Iranian aggression”,
saying the military is closely monitoring the situation with relevant agencies
and is prepared to take all necessary measures to safeguard national security
and stability.
