Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology director Jiang
Guangzhi said the city’s digital security industry exceeds 100 billion yuan and
ranks first nationwide. He said Beijing has taken an early lead in model
evaluation and AI security governance as AI raises more complex security
challenges, becoming a primary source of China’s digital-security industry. The
city aims to be a global digital-economy benchmark by 2030, will accelerate R&D
on key core technologies and upgrade data-security industry capabilities to
build a new digital-security ecosystem.
