President Trump said in a July 3 broadcast interview the US maritime blockade of
Iran could continue until Labor Day (Sept. 7), but he called that outcome
unlikely and said he expects a deal soon. He described negotiations as "moving
rapidly" and said "we will not let them have nuclear weapons," adding other
positive developments are expected.
