The U.S. State Department stated that both sides have reached an agreement in accordance with U.S. guidelines to rapidly advance the establishment of pilot zones; within these pilot zones, the Lebanese Armed Forces will exercise exclusive control over the relevant territories and exclude all non-state actors.
