China's delegation attended ITU Radiocommunication Sector (ITU‑R) WP5A/5B/5C meetings in Geneva from May 18–29, 2026, the fifth meeting in the WRC‑27 study cycle. Sessions focused on radiolocation, aeronautical mobile services and 71–76 GHz and 81–86 GHz fixed and mobile bands, with discussions on industrial private networks, intelligent transport, public protection and disaster relief (PPDR), aeronautical high-frequency system modernization, radar interference protection and autonomous maritime radio equipment. Multiple Chinese papers were adopted: national‑standard content on professional digital trunking was incorporated into PPDR proposals and reports; a draft revision to pulse‑type interference radar protection guidelines was approved; a maritime VHF channel‑use proposal was accepted; and revisions updating fixed‑service technical progress were approved.
