The National Development and Reform Commission said domestic refined-fuel
pricing will be adjusted from 24:00 today. The NDRC Price Monitoring Center said
international oil prices fell then rose over the current adjustment cycle.
Gasoline and diesel will be cut by 525 yuan/ton and 505 yuan/ton respectively,
equivalent to retail reductions of 0.41 yuan/l for 92 RON gasoline, 0.44 yuan/l
for 95 RON and 0.43 yuan/l for 0# diesel. A 50-liter fill of 92 RON gasoline
will cost about 20.5 yuan less. The NDRC estimated logistics fuel costs will
ease — a heavy truck running 10,000 km/month at 38 L/100 km would save roughly
763 yuan in fuel costs over the next two weeks.
