Xiong Jijun met SK China chairman Park Seong-jae in Beijing to discuss SK
Group's development in China. Xiong said China offers large growth potential,
broad market prospects, stable policy expectations and a sound security
environment, that MIIT values foreign firms including Korean companies, and
encouraged SK to deepen investment, participate in China's new-type
industrialization, build stable, predictable supply-demand partnerships with
Chinese firms and advance higher-level industrial cooperation while MIIT
continues to promote a market-oriented, rule-of-law, international business
environment. Park said SK, long present in China, is optimistic about the
economic outlook and business environment and plans to continue investing to
support high-quality industrial cooperation between the two countries.
