AmCham Shanghai president Zheng Yi said the US and China’s establishment of a
constructive strategic-stability framework sets a new tone by moving beyond an
exclusive focus on strategic competition. Businesses view the development as
positive; if both countries adhere to the framework in the foreseeable future it
would meaningfully support bilateral economic cooperation and trade.
