At an AI industry summit Tang Daosheng, Tencent’s senior executive vice
president, acknowledged that speed varies across the company’s complex
organization, with some business lines faster than others, and said the firm
welcomes external criticism and suggestions. He said he believes models will
continue to iterate as user demand evolves and new product forms emerge, and
noted Tencent reacted relatively quickly to the Longxia wave earlier this year.
