Argentina's defense minister Carlos Alberto Prestí and the U.S. ambassador on
June 4 signed accords to expand cooperation on military unmanned systems and
mutual supply of military fuel. The fuel pact allows Argentine forces to access
the U.S. military's logistics network for fuel during overseas exercises,
training and deployments. A separate agreement will see Argentina join a U.S.
military‑managed international digital trading platform for unmanned and
counter‑unmanned systems to support the development of Argentine military UAS and
counter‑UAS capabilities.
