On June 5 at Qualcomm's 2026 Automotive Technology and Cooperation Summit, NIO
founder, chairman and CEO Li Bin said automakers must become AI companies and
smart cockpits must become AI cockpits. He said AI is reshaping next‑generation
cockpit experience and ushering in a cognitive‑cockpit era, and that future core
cockpit experiences must be fully agentized. NIO is advancing toward that goal
in its in‑vehicle cockpit experience, with some functions already deployed in
production vehicles.
