On the 5th (local time) Rosatom CEO Alexey Likhachev said a drone launched by
Ukrainian armed forces struck Rosatom specialists conducting restoration work at
the Zaporizhzhia nuclear plant. Three engineers were wounded, two seriously.
Likhachev said the attack occurred during an active ceasefire and urged the IAEA
to note Ukraine's violation; he had earlier said a temporary ceasefire had begun
in the plant area. Ukraine did not immediately comment.
