Chongqing Saidou Technology, part-owned by SERES Group, will unveil a new car brand on June 9 in a deep collaboration with ByteDance’s Volcano Engine to develop AI-defined vehicles. The first model is expected within the year and is positioned as a crossover between an SUV and a sedan, offering battery-electric and range-extended powertrains. The vehicle will integrate Volcano Engine’s in-car interactive large model; autonomous-driving hardware/software may be supplied in partnership with Yuanrong Qixing.
