Israeli air raids on multiple towns in southern Lebanon on the 5th killed at
at least 13 people and wounded 15, Lebanese sources said. Israeli jets and drones
struck Nebetiyeh, Bint Jbeil and Tire from predawn hours, hitting homes,
vehicles and a building housing a bank branch in Tire’s Abbasiyah; that building
was destroyed and 12 civilians were wounded. Israeli forces issued evacuation
warnings for towns in the Sidon and Zahrani areas and residents were reported
evacuating. Hezbollah said its fighters attacked Israeli targets in the south
Lebanon and clashed with Israeli forces.
