Russian presidential aide Ushakov said on the 5th at the 29th St. Petersburg
International Economic Forum that the US has placed the Ukraine issue “in a
secondary position,” to some extent withdrawing from what he called an issue
“vital to Russia, irrelevant to the US.” He said Washington is currently
prioritizing Iran and that, relative to the Biden administration, the Trump
administration’s related policies show “minor adjustments.”
