Hubei provincial safety office on June 6 published 23 typical cases from a
full‑chain crackdown on illegal and noncompliant fireworks and firecrackers.
Unlike prior confiscation‑and‑fine responses, most offenders in these cases
received administrative detention of 2–10 days. Public security, emergency
management and market regulators conducted joint enforcement and rolled out a
'five‑batch' rectification program under the special enforcement campaign to
tackle entrenched industry problems, uncover safety hazards and deter offenders'
sense of impunity.
