Baogang Co. said it has developed and begun mass production of an extreme‑cold,
ultra‑high‑strength rare‑earth wear‑resistant steel, breaking what the company
described as a foreign firms’ technical monopoly. The product has entered
industrial production; the first batch passed performance tests with strong
results and is scheduled for imminent delivery to customers for commercial use.
