CNBC, citing three OPEC+ sources, says despite the US‑Iran conflict limiting
some members’ ability to boost output, OPEC+ is likely to agree on Sunday to
raise its production target by about 188,000 bpd from July — a fourth increase
in as many months and the same lift as June. Seven core members raised quotas by
nearly 600,000 bpd for Apr‑Jun, but Gulf export cuts have pushed actual output
sharply lower: OPEC data shows April average output at 33.19 mln bpd versus
42.77mlnbpd in February.
