NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said the company’s new Vera CPU will use SK Hynix DRAM, and that the two firms expect to expand cooperation over the next year, preparing for larger-scale projects in H2 and 2027. Huang met in Seoul with SK Group chairman Chey Tae-won, SK Hynix’s CEO and SK Telecom executives, and is scheduled to meet Samsung Electronics’ vice chairman and senior executives from Hyundai Motor Group and LG Group. Vera, NVIDIA’s first standalone data‑center microprocessor, targets Intel Xeon, AMD EPYC and cloud providers’ in‑house chips such as Amazon’s Graviton. Huang also said he is in discussions with telecom operators about using telecom networks for AI applications.
