Israeli military said it was intercepting missiles fired by Iran toward north
Israel, with air-raid sirens sounding across Haifa and the Sea of Galilee and
civil-defense authorities ordering residents to shelters. The Israeli Air Force
said it was carrying out intercept and strike operations to eliminate the
threat; Channel 12 reported four missiles. The military later reported a new
waves of incoming missiles and said air-defence systems were intercepting.
