On the evening of the 7th the Israel Defense Forces said Iran fired at least
three waves of missiles at Israel and that the IDF intercepted all incoming
missiles. Israeli officials told the public broadcaster and Channel 12 Israel
will "respond strongly"; the public broadcaster quoted an official saying Israel
will not allow Iran to establish a "balance," and reports expect Israeli
retaliation.
