China Meteorological Administration on the 8th released nine new Chinese typhoon names — Gaoji, Jianguwei, Dianxin, Xibi, Chuanwei, Tilu, Nani, Bulapa and Huaban — jointly agreed with the Hong Kong Observatory and the Macao Meteorological and Geophysical Bureau to replace nine names removed in 2024.
