June 8 — Vice‑Minister Qin Haixiang told a State Council policy briefing the
Urban Renewal "15th Five-Year" Plan is China’s first national-level special plan
for urban renewal, setting targets, priority tasks and major projects for the
15th Five-Year period. He said local governments must now translate the plan
into region-specific targets, tasks and implementation measures and execute them
sequentially.
