June 8 — Deputy Minister Qin Haixiang told a State Council policy briefing the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MoHURD) is studying national-level regulations on urban renewal. MoHURD said it supports local governments issuing local regulations; to date four provinces and 20 cities have adopted local urban renewal ordinances.
