China's Ministry of Transport said in a weekly logistics report for June 1–7
that monitored ports handled 258.705 mln tons of cargo in the week to June 7,
down 7.96% week-on-week; container throughput was 6.727 mln TEU, down 3.65% WoW.
Railway freight was 80.066 mln tonnes, down 0.04% WoW. Expressway truck passages
totaled 54.349 mln, down 1.85% WoW. Civil aviation operated about 107,000
flights, including 5,137 cargo flights (3,373 international, 1,764 domestic),
down 3.1% WoW. Postal and courier volumes were roughly 4.324 bln items collected
(down 1.5% WoW) and 4.287 bln delivered (down 2.37% WoW).
