The logistics investment & financing branch of the China Transportation and Communications Association released its 2025–26 report on China’s autonomous delivery vehicle market. Nationwide fleet rose to about 47,000 units by 2026 Q1 from just over 10,000 in 2024; more than 100 cities have opened road access. Market is concentrated: Jiushi Intelligent (including Cainiao) holds 25,000 units (53.2%), Xinshiqi 17,000 units (36.2%). The report says the industry has hit an inflection point, with competition shifting from technology validation to scale replication and sustainable profitability.
