June 10 — Xpeng CEO He Xiaopeng said in an internal memo he will take personally direct charge of the company’s humanoid robot unit and, effective immediately, will concurrently serve as the robot business “CEO”. He described the program as at a critical stage—comparable to Xpeng Auto eight years ago before the G3 launch—and said the company is on the threshold of mass production and commercialization, initiating a final 200-day sprint to ramp production.
