BlackRock has launched a space-themed ETF for European investors with a rapid
inclusion mechanism for newly listed stocks to provide faster, flexible exposure
to the space economy. Bloomberg industry data show global space-themed ETFs have
net inflows of about $8bn since the start of the year, outpacing defense ETFs;
among 39 ETF themes tracked, space ranks second by net inflows, behind AI.
Market analysts say the new ETF could become a key channel for investors to
pre-position for newly listed space companies such as SpaceX.
