From June 11 China’s railway tourism multi-ride ticket has been extended to
child travelers, with child fares set at 50% of the adult price and applied as
an additional stacked discount. The upgraded product builds on the June 2023
adult multi-ride ticket: purchasers may select 2–10 one-way segments between
designated stations, the ticket is valid for 15 days, and segment fares
previously carried discounts down to 85% of the average same-route, same-class
