At a State Council Information Office briefing on June 11, the Ministry of
Agriculture and Rural Affairs said east–west cooperation measures have helped
more than 5 million rural workers in western China obtain employment during the
transition from poverty-alleviation consolidation to rural revitalization,
including over 3 million workers lifted out of poverty.
