China's main futures front-month contracts closed mostly higher at the morning
session. Polysilicon rose over 4%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) gained nearly 4%.
Palladium, fuel oil, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), Shanghai crude (SC),
methanol and lithium carbonate advanced more than 3%. On the downside, Shanghai
gold fell over 4%, Shanghai silver nearly 4% and Shanghai zinc more than 2%;
international copper, Shanghai nickel, Shanghai copper, ferrosilicon and
Shanghai tin were down over 1%.
