The commander of Iran's Hatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters said U.S. rhetoric
about contrasting agreements with what he called malicious actions, a
contradiction he blamed for regional instability that threatens trade, the
international economy and security, especially the Strait of Hormuz. He warned
any renewed U.S. attack on Iran would be met with a harsher, broader response
that would expand the fighting and deepen regional insecurity. Citing recent
U.S. threats against Iranian oil infrastructure, he said Iran's oil and gas
exports will be either open to all or closed to all.
