President Trump said discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran were
submitted to and approved by Iran’s supreme leadership, and he has canceled the
strikes and bombing planned for tonight. He said the discussions and key points,
both in principle and in many details, have been approved by all relevant
parties, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar,
Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt and others. A maritime blockade
will remain fully in effect until the agreement is implemented; the time and
place for signing will be announced shortly.
