On June 11 Trump said Iran’s supreme leader has agreed to a U.S.-Iran memorandum
of understanding and that all Iranian parties have approved it. He called the
MoU very strong and very detailed, said Iran would not possess nuclear weapons,
and said the Strait of Hormuz would reopen immediately once the MoU is signed.
He added a Kharg Island operation is not under consideration.
