Guangzhou’s public consultation draft of the Commerce Development 15th Five‑Year
Plan calls for accelerated landing of major projects in intelligent connected
vehicles and new‑energy vehicles (NEVs), ultrahigh‑definition video and new
displays, green petrochemicals and new materials, smart equipment and robotics,
artificial intelligence, semiconductors and integrated circuits, and the
low‑altitude economy, and for cultivation of high‑tech, manufacturing 'single
champion' and specialized‑and‑innovative leading intermediate‑goods firms. The
draft directs faster development of intermediate‑goods trade bases and
cultivation of well‑known brands and chain‑leading enterprises, and supports
firms’ digital transformation using industrial internet, big data and AI to
raise production efficiency and product quality and to upgrade
intermediate‑goods trade toward higher‑end, digital and intelligent segments.
