SK Hynix said a fire broke out at about 09:50 local time on June 12 in the gas
room on the second floor of building M15X at its Cheongju Plant 4. This is the
second fire at the company this month. No gas leak or casualties have been
reported so far. The plant's automatic sprinkler system activated immediately
and limited the spread of the blaze. SK Hynix said it is investigating the cause
and assessing whether there was any gas leakage or impact on production
facilities.
