The China Renewable Energy Development Report released on the 12th says 2025
renewable new installed capacity hit a record and accounted for over 60% of
global additions. The report forecasts roughly 300 GW of wind and solar new
capacity in 2026 and says renewables will remain the backbone of China’s green,
low‑carbon energy transition.
